STARTERS:
- Classic French Onion Soup, with sherry, white wine & brandy…and Cheese Lids.
- Smashed Avocado on Toast with poached egg and tomatoes, garnished with mixed salad.
- A Goat’s Cheese and Water Melon Salad, with roasted pumpkin seeds, cherry tomatoes, and a honey & balsamic dressing.
- Grilled Asparagus Spears, with a citrusy lemon dressing, shallots, basil and mustard, sprinkled with a finely chopped egg.
MAINS:
- Crespelle alla Fiorentina…a savoury pancake dish, with spinach, ricotta, and freshly grated parmesan, flavoured with freshly grated nutmeg.
- Spice-Roasted Butternut Squash & Black Rice Salad, with dried cranberries, flaked almonds, and pomegranate seeds, garnished with finely chopped parsley leaves.
- No Meat Moussaka, with chestnut and wild mushrooms, puy lentils, celery, red onions, and small aubergines, in a red wine and tomato sauce.
- Greek Salad with Crispy Oregano Potatoes, garnished with roughly chopped mint, flat leaf parsley & dill
A SIMPLE SUPPER:
- A bowl of homemade soup, served with warm, crusty bread, followed by a selection of local cheeses, and chutney…served with a bowl of diced potatoes, red onions, chopped parsley & chives, and a fresh garden salad.
