- TOMATO SOUP with pistachios, shallots, cherry tomatoes, and Tabasco, served with warm ciabatta.
- DUCK & POMEGRANATE SALAD with spring onions, pomegranate seeds & thinly sliced mint leaves.
- TWICE BAKED CHEESE & CHIVE SOUFFLE with crème fraiche, cream, & grated parmesan.
- MACKEREL with FRUITY SLAW, garnished with fresh mint.
MAINS:
- HARISSA LAMB STEAKS, with chickpea mash, and tomato salad.
- CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA (CHICKEN BREASTS & PROSCIUTTO) with sauteed potatoes and either, wilted spinach, OR fried courgettes.
- COCONUT, CORIANDER & LIME COD with little lemon wedges & chopped coriander leaves – beautifully served with rice or noodles.
- OSSOBUCCO (SHIN OF BEEF) with gremolata (lemon zest & flat leaf parsley) served with crusty bread.
DESSERTS:
- HONEYCOMB CHOCOLATE & RASPBERRY CRANACHAN with raspberries & toasted oats, garnished with a sprinkling of oats & a drizzle of honey.
- BRIOCHE BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING (A perennial favourite) with homemade marmalade and pouring cream.
- TORTACAPRESE (A dark chocolate cake) served with crème fraiche OR whipped cream.
- RHURBARB & ROSE SYLLABUB, boosted with prosecco, and spooned over with orange zest.
PLUS: A choice of lovely local cheeses – with crusty bread, crackers, & homemade rustic red onion chutney.
