Hello, and welcome:-
In understanding and dealing with the new “norm” we politely request the support and assistance of all our guests – in the knowledge that all our Covid-19 policies adhere to the guidelines issued by the UK government/Public Health England/and the N.H.S. – which will be constantly reviewed, and updated, as and when required.
In order to be Covid prepared, and for all to feel safe and secure in our home, we have had to make substantial changes to our normal procedures…….
IN CARING FOR YOU
*Our big investment is the purchase of an OZONE SANITISER MACHINE, the ultimate in disinfectant cleansing – environmentally friendly, reliable, and effective – and proven to eradicate multiple viruses and bacteria. It will be deployed throughout our home, with greater focus on high traffic areas – serving to support our already stringent cleaning methods.
In addition:-
*A hand sanitiser will be available in reception – and in multiple locations – and within your room will be an assortment of sanitising aids for your personal use. (We uphold and recommend frequent hand washing.)
*In “normal” circumstances your room would be regularly and meticulously cleaned during your stay, BUT NOW, and purely to reduce risk, daily cleaning will only be available on request – but do let us know what you would prefer.
Should you wish to dispense with daily cleaning, then please leave tied bags of rubbish outside your room. (Spare bags can be found in your wardrobe.)
*Unfortunately we can no longer make available room information folders, tourist leaflets, and magazines, but within your room will be the following laminated leaflets :- a) our breakfast menu b) a packed lunch menu c) the AD122 bus timetable d) and our Covid precautions.
* And kindly note:-In doing our best to maintain 1m. social distancing wherever possible, we can now only make ONE room available for guests – with the other room remaining unoccupied (unless we have a family group.)
On departure your room will be thoroughly sanitised, and then remain empty for 24 hours.
*And sadly, help with luggage is also temporarily curtailed – in order to minimise hand to hand contact.
FOOD AND DRINK
*We have had to temporarily postpone our lavish breakfast buffet.
Breakfast will now need to be ordered the night before – selected from a pre-order menu in your room, and will then be individually served at the breakfast table.
*We will continue to serve evening meals….following established protocols, they will need to be ordered a few days ahead of your stay (preferably by email.)
*We will continue with packed lunches – to be ordered the night before from a menu displayed in your room.
*Complimentary fresh milk and bottled water will still be available – from the fridge in the guest sitting room.
*Hospitality trays will remain in place – to be sanitised and restored between guests.
*We are happy to continue providing scones and a hot drink on arrival – now to be served at the breakfast table.
HEALTH ISSUES
*It is important that you inform us should you begin to feel unwell (particularly if you display symptoms which may be Covid related) – or if you have concerns prior to your stay (as it may be necessary to cancel or postpone your visit.)

PAYMENT
*Ahead of your stay, and as normal, we will accept either your deposit, or your payment in full if you prefer – EITHER with BACS, CHEQUE, or PAYPAL.
*On departure, money outstanding can be similarly settled – or settled with CASH.
